Tour Overview
With our Two Day Trip to Luxor from Hurghada tour to Luxor from Hurghada, you have extra time to see the capital of Egypt. On your private two-day trip to Luxor from Hurghada, you will visit the Luxor Temple, Karnak Temple, Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple, and Colossi of Memnon.
Tour Itinerary
We will pick you up in the early morning from your Hurghada hotel in a private A.C. car to be transported to Luxor for an overnight travel from Hurghada to Luxor. When you get there, you’ll meet your own tour guide, who will go with you to:
Karnak Temple:
No Egyptian site is more spectacular than the Karnak Temple. It is the biggest temple complex ever constructed by humans and marks the culmination of the labors of numerous pharaohs and generations of ancient builders. On a 247-acre plot of ground, the Temple of Karnak consists of three major temples, many smaller walled temples, and a number of peripheral temples.
Luxor Temple:
The most significant event, the festival of Opet, was centered on the Temple of Luxor. The temple was constructed primarily by Amenhotep III and Rameses II and served as a venue for the festival’s ceremonies. The purpose of the event was to bring the ruler’s divine and human halves closer together.
Lunch will be served in a local restaurant in Luxor with a Nile
view
You Can Take An Optional Tour Sound and Light Show in Karnak in the Evening: The history of Thebes’ founding and the construction of the Karnak Temple is covered in the historical introduction to the program.
As you listen to a wonderful and poetic account of the creative riches and vast legacy that the Karnak temple encloses, the performance recounts the amazing accomplishments of several famous Pharaohs.
Overnight at 5stars Hotel
Hot Air Balloon ride over Luxor:
Pickup starts at 4:15 in the morning to go on one of the most romantic excursions in Luxor. You will have a hot air balloon flight over the city for 45 minutes while seeing the dawn over the temples on the west bank.
Upon arrival, your private tour guide and a private air-conditioned car will meet you to visit:
Valley of the Kings
The great pharaoh Ramses II and the young pharaoh Tutankhamen are among the monarchs of Egypt’s 18th to 20th dynasties whose tombs may be found there.
The tombs were fully furnished with everything a monarch may want in the afterlife in terms of material things. The majority of the interior decorations are still in good condition.
Hatshepsut Temple
It is among the most exquisite and well-preserved of all the Egyptian temples. The temple was constructed on three levels, connected by two large ramps in the middle.
Colossi of Memnon
Only two enormous stone sculptures of King Amenhotep III survive from a funerary temple that was once completely constructed.
Blocks of quartzite sandstone from Cairo were used to create the sculptures, which were then transported 700 kilometers to Luxor.
Enjoy your Lunch meal before driving back to Hurghada.
