Memphis Name
The name of Memphis is derived from the Ancient Egyptian name called Min-Nefer. which the Greek later called Memphis, Today it is the location of a local village called Mit Rahina, 20 km south of Cairo.

Memphis was the oldest capital of ancient Egypt. the first one that was founded after the unification of Upper and Lower Egypt.
